Andrea Radrizzani: Milan-based financier, founder of Aser Ventures/Aser Group, also owner of Leeds United at the time. Matteo Manfredi: head of London-based Gestio Capital. The two structured the rescue via a convertible bond mechanism (initially reported around €6m, subscribed by the consortium) that converted into equity after Sampdoria's share capital was written down to zero ('azzeramento del capitale') as part of the restructuring.
